Scott joined Hill Country Fellowship as Lead Pastor in the summer of 2016.  He and his family love seeing broken people find Jesus, laughing, and having a blast together. Scott has ministered and served all over the world, but considers Texas home. He also has an abiding passion for U2, Ireland, Taco Cabana, and The Lord of the Rings.

  • IRA ORr

Ira has been serving the staff at Hill Country Fellowship since 2008. He loves to remind the staff that people are more important than programs. He is a retired Colonel and a twenty-seven year veteran of the United States Army. He loves bragging on his amazing wife Barbara, his kids and even grandkids, and has a dream one day to retire on the beaches of Hawaii. His footprints in the sand will be easy to spot, since he wears a size 15 shoe. In his free time (when it's warm), you can find him at Delaware Springs Golf Course.

Mark loves making a difference. After serving 32 years in the public school system,  Mark retired as principal of Burnet High School. He has served as an elder of two different churches, and now the Lord has led him to serve in full-time ministry. Fun fact about Mark, he met his wife, Sharyl, in 6th grade and knew he was going to marry her. They began dating their senior year of high school and have been together ever since.  You might see Mark on his days off in the skies flying his gyroplane.

Jeremy has an endless supply of enthusiasm. Jeremy has a special love for hunting, especially moose, although he hasn’t found many since moving to Texas from Alaska. You may notice him driving around town in his 1955 cherry red Chevy that he restored with his dad. Jeremy has a great passion for sharing the good news of Jesus with strangers and going on every mission trip he can.

Ben brings constant joy and laughter to our crew. Ben and his wife Kara have four children, Nathan, Katherine, Kaytie, and Ethan. When Ben isn't working hard planning Sunday's worship service you can find him either checking in on the Aggies, perfecting his cold brew recipe, or shopping at Costco. God has gifted Ben in many areas of music, and he has an incredible talent for leading people in worship. Fun fact about Ben: he can spontaneously imitate pretty much anything with his voice but good luck getting him to do it.

    student PASTOR

Michael grew up a Burnet Bulldog and attended HCF.  Fortunately after college and seminary, the Lord convinced him (and wife Aimee) to return to us in 2018.  He has a passion for encouraging students to follow Jesus.  He also enjoys reading, keeping up with Baylor football, playing disc golf, and eating lasagna.  Fun fact about Michael -- he's the only staff member at HCF who can ride a unicycle.

Dan was a career IBMer when God radically transformed this pagan hippy into a man on fire for Jesus! Dan is a self-described "Spirit-filled, Bible believing, rational charismatic, Christian apologist."  He and his wife Leonora love sailing and spending time camping in their fifth wheel and serve together in prison outreach. He has a fantastic collection of guitars and longhorns he'd be glad to show you if you visit him out at his ranch.  Dan's true passion is helping people unite their heart and mind in worship of Jesus.
